Gutenslider Pro
Free for education and nonprofits.
Schools, universities and nonprofits that stand up for democracy get Gutenslider Pro for free: every Pro feature, updates and priority support, for the sites of your organization.
Who qualifies
Political parties, commercial projects and organizations that work against democratic values or human rights don’t qualify. We decide each request ourselves.
Education
Schools and universities
Public or nonprofit schools, colleges and universities, for their websites, course sites and research projects.
Teaching
Teachers and students
For teaching, coursework and student projects. Write to us from your school or university address.
Civil society
Nonprofits for democracy
Registered nonprofits that work for democracy, human rights, civic education, press freedom or civil society.
What you get
The same Pro a paying customer gets.
- Every Pro feature: 3D, shaped and WebGL effects, parallax, lightbox thumbnails and zoom, arrow and dot styles, Vimeo, Dailymotion and TikTok slides.
- Updates and priority email support.
- A license for a year, renewed for free as long as you still qualify.
- If it ends, your sliders keep working, as with every Pro license.
How to ask
1
Write to us
Email hello@gutenslider.org with your organization’s name and website, the sites you want Pro on, and for nonprofits a link to your registration (gemeinnützig, charity, 501(c)(3) …).
2
We check
We read every request ourselves and answer within a few days. Sometimes we ask for a detail or two.
3
Install Pro
You get the license by email and download Pro from your Freemius account, like any customer.
Not required, but appreciated
Tell people about it
If Gutenslider helps you, a mention in your site’s credits, a link to gutenslider.org or a review on wordpress.org helps us a lot. None of this is a condition for the license.
